Our Reindeer Moss is grown in North European forests and is exclusively hand-picked by local producers, in keeping with ancestral sustainable methods respectful of the environment.
It is a natural fire retardant lichen that can be used only indoors, and must be guaranteed an environment with a relative humidity of above 35%.
That said, it does not need any maintenance at all !

The color – which is determined during the preservation stage – does not contain any harmful toxic or noxious substances and does not discolor with time.

• B - S2 - d0 in European standards
• FSI 0 / SDI 15 in North American standards
Acoustics
Our reindeer moss provides undeniable sound-reducing qualities which were tested in accordance to the ISO 11654:1997 by a certified laboratory in Belgium. Class D NRC 0,35.

Life span & conditions of usePreserved Reindeer moss is 100% maintenance free: it does not need water, pruning nor sunlight.
It keeps its natural form, color & texture for up to 10 years, but only if used in optimal conditions:
• Indoor use only
• Limited direct sunlight exposure (it can handle it, but life span will not be optimal)
• Avoid touching, folding, crushing etc.
• Relative humidity in the room between 20% and 80%
• Avoid proximity with water sources & heat sources
